Wooden garage doors in cedar, Accoya® oak & idigbo – a simple thing, quality – when you know how
Woodrite Up and Over Garage Doors
Built to order – built to last.
All of our Woodrite timber garage doors are built to order from grade one selected cedar/idigbo tongue and groove boards, cedar/idigbo/oak/Accoya mouldings, cedar/oak faced ply and cedar/idigbo raised and fielded panels depending on style. All boards are individually dipped in a base coat to ensure penetration into the end grain and grooves. All wooden garage doors are available in a wide range of standard sizes and special sizes can be made to measure in mm increments. If you are looking for oak garage doors we have the Monmouth oak garage door range or, as an alternative we have the Warwick range that is an exceptional match for oak and is available in a wider range of designs. If you have any queries about our door style or finish, please contact a member of the team before you order.
Woodrite Side Hinged Garage Doors
Side hinged garage doors are constructed by using traditional build methods with mortice and tenoned joints. The side, top and bottom rails are all machined using 43mm thick timbers and rebated centre rails eliminate gaps between panels for added security. Side hinged garage doors are hung with three brass-effect hinges per leaf or with the option of a pair of classic strap hinges in black or silver colour or traditional strap hinges in black wrought iron. The garage doors have a night latch and finger pull (commonly used on front doors) with the option of a mortice lock and lever set – see individual furniture pack for details. Side hinged garage doors have shoot bolts top and bottom to secure the inactive leaf and door stays to hold the door in the open position.
